Your webcam stream is entirely private. Flippa operates 100% locally on your Mac hardware.
- We do not record, capture, store, or transmit any video feeds, images, or audio from your physical camera.
- All real-time video mirroring and processing happens directly on your GPU using Apple Metal and CoreImage frameworks.
- No video stream ever leaves your device or touches any remote server.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect minimal information necessary to provide waitlist updates and analyze website traffic:
- Waitlist Email Addresses: If you voluntarily join our waitlist form, we collect your email address via Formspree solely for sending launch updates. We do not sell or share your contact information with third parties.
- Campaign Data (UTM Parameters): We collect standard referral campaign parameters (such as `utm_source` and `utm_medium`) to determine which announcements guided you to our waitlist.
3. Third-Party Analytics & Tracking
Our website utilizes standard, privacy-conscious measurement services to help us improve performance and measure waitlist conversions:
- PostHog: We use PostHog for privacy-compliant product analytics and session replays on our web landing page.
- Google Ads & Google Tag Manager (gtag.js): We use Google Tag Manager to track conversion events when users voluntarily subscribe to our waitlist. This helps us measure ad campaign performance.
